BAILEY, W. Carlous, 77, of Dover, went to be with the Lord November 13, 2007. He retired after 33 years with Amex Chemical in Polk County. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover and was a friend to all who knew him. Carlous loved to tell stories, loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed his gardening and was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Dorothy Bailey of Plant City; a son, Carl Bailey of Plant City; his stepson, Lamar Holbrook, and his wife, Teresa; one sister, Edna B. Hall; two nieces, Janice Hall and Gail Long; two nephews, Jerry Hall and Randy Long; and two grandchildren, Luke and Chelsea Holbrook. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Dover, 3223 Gallagher Road, Dover. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the First Baptist Church of Dover building fund in his memory.
