BRAXTON, Virginia L., 80, of Seffner, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2003. She is survived by three sons, Ernest Braxton, Jr. and wife, Alyce of Marietta, Ga., Robert Braxton and wife, Barbara of Seffner, Fla. and Roger Braxton and wife, Terry of Hixson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Deanna Castona and husband, Rex, Greg Braxton and wife, Laura, Andy Braxton and wife, Summer, Stacey Smith and husband, Mark, Chris Braxton, Matt Braxton and wife, Ellie, Misty Belt, Nick Huskey and Tiffany Johnson and husband, Trey; and 10 great-grand-children, Courtney and Brittney Castona, Hannah, Erin and Dean Braxton, Ashton, Abbey and Ty Smith, Caleob Belt and Haley Huskey. A native of Pine Island, Fla., she has resided most of her life in the Tampa area. Virginia was a bus driver for over 20 years with Hillsborough County School System, a member of Presbyterian Church of Seffner and a former member of Linsley Chapter No. 152 Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Stowers Brandon Chapel. Interment to follow at Seffner Cemetery . The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or contributions may be made to Presbyterian Church of Seffner Memorial Fund or American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in her memory.
