BROOME, Trudy, 66, of Ruskin, Fla., passed away July 9, 2003 in Ruskin, Fla. Born in Habersham County, Ga., she moved to Ruskin in 1966 from Tampa, Fla. Trudy was a wonderful wife, mother and superb Nana! She was a member of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her mother, Flossie Black; husband Dean Broome; daughters, Tammy Wright, Sheila Burdick and Trena Mewborn; brother, Kenneth Black; sisters, Shirley Holder and Joann Swonger; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Lewers Funeral Home between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ruskin Memorial Park, Ruskin, Fla.
