BRIDGES, Viola, 85, of Gibsonton, passed away Tuesday October 10, 2000 at South Bay Hospital. She was born in Lucille, Ga., and came here in 1955. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by six sons, Thomas Lewis of Ruskin, John Marcus of Wallace, S.C., Richard Benjamin of Gibsonton, Joseph Calvin of Valdosta, Ga., James Lincoln of Clair Mel City, William Rufus of Gibsonton; three daughters, Dixie Eliabeth Parr of Hudson, Dollie Mae Nickerson of Gibsonton, Ruth Inez Schmude of Hudson; twenty grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Lewers Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Joseph Calvin Bridges and Rev. Curtis Fredericks. Interment will follow in Ruskin Memorial Park.
