BERNARDINO, Luz Maria, 72, of Ruskin, Fla., died October 27, 2006. She was a Ruskin resident since 1964 and was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her son, Jesus Bernardino Jr.; and two grandsons, Bryan Bernardino and Daniel Scott Shellhouse. She is survived by five daughters, Lupe Shellhouse of Cuthbert, Ga., Teresa Mojica of Tallahassee, Fla., Alina Vaughn of Atlanta, Ga., Josie Lorenzo of Clinton, N.C. and Dolores Martinez of Ruskin, Fla.; three sons, Johnny Bernardino of Ruskin, Fla.; Billy Bernardino of Ruskin, Fla., Ismael Bernardino of Riverview, Fla.; one brother, Francisco Ramirez of Mexico; one sister, Natalia Padilla of Mexico; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A celebration of life gathering will be noon-2 p.m. Monday, October 30, with the funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m. at Lewers Funeral Home, 308 E. College Ave., Ruskin, Fla. Interment will be in Ruskin Memorial Gardens.
