KNOWLES, Lois Nina, 80, of Gainesville, Fla., formerly of Valrico, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2002. A native of Valrico, she had resided in Gainesville since 1956. She was Assistant Dean and Professor Emeritus at the College of Nursing, Univ. of Fla., retiring in 1984. She is survived by her brother, Thad Knowles of Riverview; four nieces; and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery . The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
