FRIER, Floyd W., 90, of Dover, passed away July 16, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Frier; one son, Wallace D. Frier Sr.; one daughter, Arethea Yates; one sister, Myrtle Kelan; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Frier was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 19, 2006, at Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Arnold Hodum and the Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (today) for visitation at the funeral home.
