DORADO, Nellie M., 79, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 28, 2003 after fighting a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Preceded in death by a son, Dennis Dorado. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Paula, Darlene Davis and husband Bill; brothers, Bryant Langford and wife Ricki, David Langford and wife Pat, Carlton Langford and wife Carolyn, Lester Langford and wife Shirley; sister, Leta Hatcher; five grandchildren, Michelle Brock and husband Thomas, Shelli Martin and husband Dean, Allison Davis, Seth Davis and Kent Davis; five great grandchildren, Travis and Taylor Brock, Ashleigh Martin, Eden and Emma Davis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nellie was a loving and generous mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa Bay area, she worked in food processing at Swift and Company for 30 years, was a longtime member of the Meat Packers Local Union and was a member of Tampa Bay Commnity Church. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
