CASEY, Thomas Charlie "T.C.," 88, of Durant, passed away June 5, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Gladys M. Casey; two sons, Charles Terry Casey and Richard John Casey; and one daughter, Lori Denise Casey. He is survived by his wife Mary Estelle Casey; two sons, William T. Casey of Rutherfordton, N.C., and Timothy C. Casey of Wauchula; one stepson, Wilford Yates of Durant; one daughter, Patricia June Haynes of Seffner; two stepdaughters, Faye Toole and Gayle Klee, both of Durant; two sisters, Gladys Gilbert of Holly Hill, Fla., and Colleen Hess of Forest Park, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. Mr. Casey was a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 1939. He retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad in 1979. He was a longtime member and past master of Brandon Masonic Lodge #114 F&AM and attended Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church in Durant. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at 11 a.m., at Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery . Pallbearers will be Thomas H. Casey, Jeffrey W. Haynes, Richard John Casey Jr., Chris Campbell, Derek Yates and Brian Trexler. The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the funeral home.
