BRYANT, Alfred L., 69, of Durant, Fla., passed away June 8, 2007. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elisha Bryant. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary "Kathy" Bryant; three sons, William "Buddy" Bryant, Vail Johnson, Johnathan Johnson; four daughters, Cathy Finley, Coresa Layton, Diane Harrod, and Denise Parris; one sister, Carolyn Compton; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bryant was retired after many years in the landscaping business. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007, with the Rev. Mark Compton officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
