BROWN, Mezo, 82, of Turkey Creek, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2003. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Marie Brown; and his son, Danny "Tommy" Thomas Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Leola "Sis" Brown; one son, Ricky Brown; both of Turkey Creek; a dearly loved daughter-in-law, Ruth Fryar, widow of Tommy; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mezo will be remembered by his family and friends as a gentle and caring man. His gentle presence among us will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 4, 2003 at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove with Pastor Charles Studstill officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church.
