BROOKS, Marie L., passed away May 7, 2003. She was born in New York City and moved to Tampa from North Carolina. She was a Presbyterian and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, unit #111. She was a Crossing Guard since 1978 for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department. She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Floyd Desmond and Peter Polis, Jr.; one sister, Mona Fazekas; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.
