BOBBETT, Edward Rivers, age 73, of Lutz, Fla., went home to be with our Lord, Monday, Jan. 28, 2002. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Norma Jeanne; his two daughters, Debbie S. Denton and her husband Steve, and Cindie A. Tripp and her husband Kim; grandson, Christopher S. Kapper, II and his wife Brianne; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Horn and her husband Dustin; grandson, Justin K. Tripp; sister, Alberta Sparkes and her husband Hubert; brother- in-law, Marvin Owen; brother- in-law, James Denham and wife Carol; cousins, nieces and nephews. Ed was a faithful Christian man and an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a member of Idlewild Baptist Church, which he loved dearly. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a retired electrical engineer of 32 years at Anheuser Busch, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at Idlewild Baptist Church, 1515 W. Bearss Avenue by Pastor Ken Whitten on Friday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers or contributions to the Idlewild Baptist Church TOUCHING TOMORROW FUND will be accepted.
