ALBRITTON, James Anthony, Sr. (Tony), 52 of Valdosta, Ga., formerly of Palmetto, Fla. and Wimauma, Fla., died Saturday, April 21, 2001. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur (Jack) Albritton and a son, James Anthony Albritton, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Helene; a son, Timothy Jack Albritton and wife Rachel of Lithia, Fla.; three daughters, Christian Marie Moore and husband Robbie of Moultrie, Ga., Shauna Alicia Corbett and husband Chris of Lakeland, Ga., and Krystal Nicole Bruce and husband Mike of Lakeland, Ga.; his mother, Antimina (Ann) Pedata Albritton; a step-son, Michael Samuel Roy of Tampa; a step- daughter, Robin Erin Givens of Clearwater; four brothers, Henry Albritton and wife Susan of Tampa, Leland Albritton and wife Phyllis of Sun City Center, Wallace Albritton and wife Elizabeth of Apollo Beach and Howard Albritton and wife Karen of Tampa; a sister, Jean Broughton and husband Phillip of Wimauma; eight grandchildren, Amanda Louise Albritton, Corey Grayson Moore, Stephen Justin Albritton, Paige Katelyn Maunsell, Taylor Jenet Corbett, Allen Michael and Lauren McKenzie Bruce and Dustin Michael Givens. He was born in Bradenton, Fla. and was the retired owner of H.L. Albritton Transportation Company. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at the First Baptist Church of Wimauma with Rev. Richard Hosea officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery  . Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Family Funeral Care, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
