BRASHEAR, Sampson C., 89, passed away in Lutz November 7, 2006. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth L. Brashear, he is survived by his sons, John R. "Bob" and wife, Rachel E., and Sam Brashear; daughter, Susan L. Andry, and husband, Mark; sister, Edna Jennings; sister-in-law, Suzie Brashear; niece, Jean R. Nelson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from civil service. He was a pioneer of the Lutz community. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday at Blount & Curry Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carrollwood Chapel.
