BAUMBACH, Joan H., 59, of Tampa, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 after a short battle with cancer. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Buddy Baumbach; son, Allen Baumbach and wife Cathy of Plano, Texas; daughters, Caryn Sebree and husband Dan, and Christy Wozniak and husband Jason, both of Tampa; brothers, Rudolph Hoover Jr. and wife Viola, and Glen Hoover and wife Carolyn, all of Louisiana; sisters, Juanita Christoph of Mississippi and Shirley Wild of Louisiana; six grandchildren; and 14 nieces and nephews. A native of Springfield, La., Joan dedicated her life to being the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend possible. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lake Carroll Cemetery . The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nursing staff at St. Joseph's Cancer Institute and Dr. Rand Altemose, M.D.
