Survivors include a son, Michael Wayne Jr., Wauchula; a daughter, Jessica Nicole, Wauchula; his parents, Melvin J. Sr. and Nettie R. Pollock, Lithia; two brothers, Melvin J. JOHNSON, Barbara Pollock, 39, of Lithia, passed away February 24, 2005. She is survived by her parents, Melvin J. and Nettie R. Pollock Sr.; one son, Michael Wayne Johnson Jr.; one daughter, Jessica Nicole Johnson; two brothers, Melvin J. Pollock Jr. and Donald Pollock; two sisters, Carolyn Caruthers and Patricia Powell; and longtime friend, Jeni Kirk. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005, from Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Erle McMichen officiating. Interment will follow in Hurrah Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
