WATINS, Robert, 91, of Tampa, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Watins came to Tampa 27 years ago from his native New York. He was a successful businessman in New York, where he established and owned a lithography company for more than 30 years. He was a member of Congregation Kol Ami, was devoted to his family, loved golf the stock market and the opera, and was a loyal Buccaneer fan. He adored all of his granddogs. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Florence. He is survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Ileana and Lewis Berger of Tampa; loving son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Fran Watins of New York; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucille and Bill Rosov of Sarasota; beloved grandchildren, Allison, Brad, Stacie, Karl, Michael and Jill; and six cherished great-grandchildren including Isabel and Avery. His memory will endure as a blessing. Graveside services were held Sunday at Gan Shalom Cemetery . A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami or to pediatric cancer research c/o Tampa Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W. Dr. M.L. King Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607.
