WATINS, Florence Rita, age 87, of Tampa passed away, Thursday, February 15, 2001. She was beloved and treasured by her survivors who include, her beloved husband of 63 years and best friend, Robert Watins; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Ileana and Dr. Lewis Berger, Tampa; loving son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Fran Watins, N.Y.; loving sister, Lucille Rosov, Sarasota; cherished grandchildren, Allison, Stacie, Karl, Michael and Jill; and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Watins came to Tampa 23 years ago from her native, New York. She was a member of Congregation Kol Ami. She was "grandma" to all who knew her. Her memory will endure as a blessing. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 10:00 a.m. at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery in Lutz. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Congregation Kol Ami or to Pediatric Cancer Research at the Tampa Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's, 3001 W. Dr. M.L. King Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33607.
