SCHONWETTER, Joyce, 77, of Tampa died Wednesday, May 11, 2005. Mrs. Schonwetter, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was born in Daytona Beach and came to Tampa 11 years ago from North Miami Beach. She was an accountant, having graduated from the University of Florida. She was a member of Congregation Kol Ami, Kol Ami Sisterhood, a life member of Hadassah and a former member of Beth Torah Adath Yeshurun Congregation in North Miami Beach. Mrs. Schonwetter was dedicated to her family and her memory will always be a blessing. Survivors include her beloved husband of 52 years, Morris; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Barry Schonwetter of Boston, Mass., and Dr. Ronald and Rita Schonwetter, Tampa; daughter and son-in-law, Sondra and Dr. David Sussman of Lawrence, N.Y.; brother, Warren Trager of Daytona Beach; and grandchildren, Adam, Gene, Melissa and Samuel Sussman, and Sara, Rachel and Jonathan Schonwetter. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser and Cantor Yaakov Ephron will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery . The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 5 North at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center for their dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami or the charity of one's choice.
