ROTH, Jack, age 73, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., died Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Mr. Roth resided in San Antonio for 23 years coming from his native New York. Mr. Roth was an entrepreneur both in New York and Florida and was very politically motivated and charitable. He was among the founders and first vice-president of PRIMER, a media watch organization. He is vice-commander of the Jewish War veterans-Post 373, co-president ofHAZAK, a member of Congregation Kol Ami and served on the synagogue board of directors, member of the Tampa JCC/ Federation and served on the Community Relations Committee and was chairman of Shalom 55 (Israel Independence Day for 2003) for Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Carol; daughters, Diane Eva Roth of San Francisco, Calif., Sharon Fay Roth of Los Angeles, Calif. and Kim-Ann Britt of Tampa; son, David Howard Roth of Conoga Park, Calif.; brothers, Dr. Samuel J. Roth of Dix Hills, N.Y. and Dr. Abraham Roth of Wanaque, N.J.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Ann Roth. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kol Yelodeem fund at Congregation Kol Ami or the Jewish National Fund.
