ROSENZWEIG, David, 48, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2002. He was born in Hillside, New Jersey. He was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and received a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut. For the past 24 years, David was employed by JB Hanauer & Co., and served as a member of their Board of Directors. He was the Executive Vice President & Branch Manager for their Tampa office. He was a member of Congregation Kol Ami and a former officer of its Board of Trustees. He served as a volunteer with both the Special Olympics and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition, he was a past coach of the Carrollwood Soccer League. A former college varsity basketball player, David's love of sports included his selection as a member of the 1996 tennis team at the prestigious Maccabiah Games. He frequently played tennis at the Northdale Tennis Club and the Colony Tennis Resort in Longboat Key. David is survived by his wife, Harriet; and children, Benjamin and Lauren of Tampa; and his brothers, Samuel of Washington, D.C. and Simon of Urbana, Illinois. Funeral services will be held today at Congregation Kol Ami with burial following at Gan Shalom Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation Kol Ami or the Special Olympics.
