QUINLAN, Amy K., age 45, of Tampa passed away Friday, January 31, 2003. Mrs. Quinlan came to Tampa in 1995 from New York. Amy was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and held a MSW from Fordham University. For several years Amy was a technical analyst with the department of child and family studies with Florida Mental Health Institute at USF. She was a member of Temple Schaarai Zedek and Schaarai Zedek Sisterhood. Survivors include her husband, David Quinlan, Tampa; sons, Tom Quinlan, Dallas, Texas, and Kenny Quinlan, Tampa; daughter, Jessie Quinlan, Tampa; her parents, Thomas and Carolyn Kohlberg, Mamaroneck, NY; and sisters, Peggy Grodd, Longmeadow, Mass., Judy Banker, Greenwich, Conn., and Emily Greenberg, Mamaroneck, NY. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Temple Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Avenue, Tampa. Rabbi Richard Birnholz will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to either: Gilda's Club Westchester, 80 Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY. 10601 to benefit women with breast cancer and their families, or to the St. Joseph's Foundation at St. Joseph's Cancer Institute, C/O Dr. Horvath, 3001 W. Dr. ML King Blvd., Tampa, FL. 33607 (in memo section of check, please specify, Bio Therapy Research Foundation). Dr. Horvath's immunology lab is researching a cancer vaccine which one day may save the lives of those stricken with cancer.
