NEWMAN, Sanford "Sandy," age 54, of Land O' Lakes, died Sunday, February 29, 2004. Mr. Newman came to the area in 2000 from his native Detroit, Mich., where he was a systems analyst for Ford Motor Company. He was a Mason, a member of Egypt Temple Shrine and a member of the Shriners Clown Unit. Survivors include his wife, Miriam; son, Brian Newman; and daughter, Julie Newman all of Land O' Lakes; brothers, Sherwin Newman and Joel Newman, both of Michigan; and sister, Susan Barr of Michigan. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at Gan Shalom Cemetery , located just east of Livingston Ave. on County Line Rd. Rabbi Frank Sundheim will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid Florida Chapter, 3659 Maguire Blvd., Suite 110, Orlando, FL. 32803 or Diabetes Action, 426 C.
