KATZ, Lewis, 61, of Tampa, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Mr. Katz was born in New York and came to Tampa in 1991 from Maplewood, N.J. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and worked for Lebhar Friedman Inc. in New York, where he was the corporate director. He was a member and past treasurer of Congregation Beth Am. Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Harriet, son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Yael, and granddaughter, Ella, brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Susan Katz of Texas, and sister, Paula Feinberg of New Jersey. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Congregation Beth Am with interment at Gan Shalom Cemetery . The family wishes to thank the compassionate and caring staff of Dr. Rand Altemose.
