GOLDENBERG, Abraham "Boomy," age 85, of Tampa, died Saturday, December 13, 2003. Mr. Goldenberg came to Tampa from his native Philadelphia, Pa. 24 years ago. He was a retired engineer from the US Navy Aviation Supply Office, where he served the Navy Department for 42 years. He was among those who designed the first nuclear submarine, the "Nautilus." Mr. Goldenberg was a member of Congregation Kol Ami. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandson, Jason L. Goldenberg. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Gazele, son and daughter-in-law, Murray and Carol Goldenberg; daughter and son-in-law, Suzan and Robert Bradshaw; and his grandson, Shawn Goldenberg. Funeral services will be held Today, (Monday), 10:00 a.m. at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami Education Fund.
