FOX, Allan L., age 61, of Tampa passed away, Thursday, November 15, 2001. Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Ronna; mother, Lillian Fox of Plantation, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Sharon Fox, Tampa; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dale Denney of Mesquite, Texas; sister, Penny Schwartz, Ft. Lee, N.J.; and grandchildren, Brenden Crampton, Taylor Crampton, Justin Fox, Emily Denney and Jordan Fox. Mr. Fox was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Tampa 25 years ago from Valdosta, Ga. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Air Force where he had been a pilot and had served for 22 years. He was an active participant in numerous civic and religious organizations including Congregation Kol Ami and was the immediate past president of the Chessed Shel Emes. Graveside services will be held today, (Friday), 1:30 p.m. at Gan Shalom Cemetery (located on County Line Rd. just east of Livingston) with Rabbi Joel Wasser officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Congregation Kol Ami or Hillel School C/O Allan Fox Endowment Fund or the charity of ones choice.
