ALEXANDER, Blanche, age 81, of Tampa, died Saturday, September 20, 2003. Mrs. Alexander came to Tampa in 1986 from her native, New York. She was a retired registered nurse having worked at many New York hospitals including, Good Samaritan Hospital in Seffrin, N.Y. She was an active member of Brandeis Women's Association and Congregation Kol Ami. Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, Justin; sons, Robert David Alexander of Queens, N.Y., and Jonathan Alexander of Suffern, N.Y.; daughter, Jane Cecily Melamed of Chlmsford, Mass.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today (Monday), 9:30 a.m. at Congregation Kol Ami , 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice or Congregation Kol Ami.
