ABELES, Martin, 84 of Delray Beach, Fla., passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005, in Tampa. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsie Abeles; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Suanne Abeles, and Bruce and Janet Abeles; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ronald Thompson; grandchildren, Stephanie and Chris Haas, Rachel Shumaker-Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, Chris and Ginny Conway, Aaron Abeles, Evan Abeles and Alexandra Abeles; and great-grandchild- ren, Cody Haas and Samantha Haas. Mr. Abeles was born in North Plainfield, N.J., and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Segal Funeral Home - Beth David Chapel, 3909 Henderson Blvd., Tampa. Rabbi Joel Wasser of Congregation Kol-Ami will officiate. Interment will follow at Gan Shalom Cemetery , located east of Livingston Avenue on County Line Road in Tampa.
