BARJA, Joe, of Tampa passed away November 7, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Mary;
daughter, Diana Portillo; and three grandsons, Michael Scott Portillo M.D., Nicholas Joseph
Portillo and Keith Anthony Portillo. Mr. Barja was a Tampa native, a U.S. Navy veteran of
World War II, a member of Universal Lodge #178 F & AM, Tampa Consistory of Scottish Rite
and Boilermakers Union Local #433 in Tampa. Funeral service will be held Wednesday,
November 10, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel, 4207 East Lake
Avenue, Tampa. Entombment will be in Centro Espanol Memorial Park, Tampa.
