BALBONTIN, Mary V., age 85, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord April 12, 2003. She was
a lifelong resident of Tampa and a member of the former Christ Cumberland Presbyterian
Church. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Constante Balbontin, Sr., son, Joaquin
"Frank" Balbontin, sister, Caroline Sierra, and brothers, Domingo Villarosa and Rene
Villarosa; Mrs. Balbontin is survived by her sons, Constante Balbontin, Jr., and wife
Sandra, Augustine Balbontin and wife Elise, and Luis M. Balbontin and wife Susan; daughter,
Diana Marteli and husband Simon; brother, Sam Villarosa; sisters, Angie Dean and Helen
Martinez; 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the chapel of Gonzalez
Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Schultz officiating. Interment will follow in Centro Espanol
Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Epilepsy
Foundation in memory of Mrs. Balbontin. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon
from 1 p.m. until time of service at the chapel of
