WOOD, George L., "G.L.", 67, of Plant City, passed away September 13, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Wood of Plant City; two daughters, Kimberly Stothers of Winter Haven and Kelly Gray of Tampa; one brother, William Wood of Lithia; one sister, Loraine Brown of Lithia; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Wood was a builder in the home construction business before retirement. Funeral services will he held Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Central Baptist Cemetery . The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
