HODGES, Roy B., 94, formerly of Plant City, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005, at HQM of Palm Bay, Fla. He was born in Macon County, Ga., October 15, 1910, and moved to Florida in the 1920s. He lived in Tampa and Plant City for over 70 years before moving to the Sebastian area in 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Hodges, in 1995. Survivors include his two daughters, Joyce Murray and her husband, Ray, of Valrico, Fla., and Phyllis Henry and her husband, John, of Valrico, Fla.; son, Rodger Hodges and his wife, Judy, of Sebastian, Fla.; two granddaughters, Suzanne Day of Seffner, Fla., and Whitney White of Woodbridge, Va.; four great-granddaughters, Rachel and Lydia Day, and Kathrynn and Brianna White; one brother, JD Hodges of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Antioch Cemetery in Thonotosassa. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at the Stowers Brandon Chapel.
