John W. Meeks
John W. Meeks, 55, of 2910 Ivy St. died suddenly yesterday moring
in Auburndale. He was a native of Lee, a veteran of World War I and
a retired road engineer. He is survived by six sons, James Meeks, Dover;
Rufus, Marcus, Clifford and Bruce Meeks, all of Tampa and 
Cpl. John D. Meeks, in Germany, a daughter, Mrs. Luola Zambito of Tampa; 
a sister, Mrs. Mary Willis, Auburndale; a brother, Waldo Meeks, Trenton
and 11 grandchildren.

Meeks, John W. - Funeral services for John W. Meeks, 55 of 2910 Ivy St.
who passed away Tuesday morning in Auburndale will be held Thursday at
2 P.M. from the A. P. Boza Chapel, (corner of N. Albany and Laurel) with
internment in American Legion Cemetery. McDill Field will furnish 
the military honors.
