HURT, James C. Sr., 88, of Plant City, passed away August 8, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Hurt; one son, James C. Hurt Jr.; one daughter, Nellie Irene Henry, and husband, Gene; one step- daughter, Mavis Thornton; three stepsons, Richard Cobb, Michael Cobb and Leon Cobb; one sister, Klara Grathwahl; four grandchildren, Cherokee Hurt, Jessee Hurt, Jared Williams and Stephanie Urquhart; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12, 2005, at 10 a.m., at Hopewell Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Pelote Cemetery . The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all hospice workers for the wonderful care they provide.
