ALLEN, Hubert, 69, of Lithia, departed this life Monday, September 29, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Iris P. Allen, and his brother, Herman Allen. He is survived by his sons, Billy O'Kelly and his wife, Deborah, Joey L. Allen and his wife, Crystal, and Randy L. Allen and his wife, Kathrine; by his sisters Mae Edmundson and Louise Sheffield; by his special friend, Joyce Taulbee; and his seven grandchildren. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 2, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 State Road 39 S., Plant City. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, at Alafia Baptist Church, 222 Alafia Church Road, Lithia, with interment to follow at Pelote Cemetery .
